Client: Axiom Pictures (Conceptual)
Category: Cinematic Branding & Visual Identity
The Challenge:
Stasis began as a self-initiated exploration of cinematic branding—an opportunity to design not just for a film, but for an entire world. The goal was to capture the intrigue and emotional depth of a science fiction thriller while demonstrating how cohesive design can transform narrative into immersive experience. The story centers on a colony’s disappearance and the haunting discovery of its frozen inhabitants, offering a foundation to explore tone, atmosphere, and visual storytelling through design.
The Solution:
Kuro GFX developed a full identity system for the fictional studio Axiom Pictures and its in-world release of Stasis. The project includes two distinct poster treatments, a custom title logo, studio branding, digital advertisements, premiere passes, outdoor media, and collectible packaging. The modern poster was built through photo-compositing and digital painting to achieve a sleek, high-concept aesthetic that reflects contemporary sci-fi design. In contrast, the retro variant draws inspiration from the tactile grit and analog textures of 70s and 80s cinema, blending nostalgia with modern execution. Together, the two visual directions explore how design language can influence perception, mood, and storytelling.
The Result:
The outcome is a complete visual ecosystem that blurs the line between concept and reality. Every element feels authentic to a studio-level release while maintaining a strong sense of artistic authorship. Stasis demonstrates how design can build atmosphere, shape narrative, and evoke emotion long before a story is told on screen—a showcase of cinematic world-building through intentional, story-driven design.

Kuro GFX is more than a design studio; it’s a mindset built on defiance, curiosity, and craft. Every project begins with a simple question: What can this design make people feel? Founded on the belief that creativity should challenge comfort zones, Kuro GFX exists to push boundaries, sharpen ideas, and build visuals that linger long after they’re seen. This is not about decoration; it’s about transformation.
I’m a multidisciplinary designer specializing in cinematic branding and creative storytelling. I collaborate with studios, brands, and creators to turn emotion into identity — crafting work that merges concept and feeling into unforgettable visual experiences. Every campaign, composition, and identity I create is designed to move people, provoke emotion, and leave an impression that lasts.

Kuro GFX crafts bold, concept-driven design that fuses emotion, clarity, and precision into experiences that resonate. Kuro GFX believes in the power of intention—that every line, every shadow, every color should serve meaning and purpose. The mission is simple: turn ideas into identity, transform brands into stories, and elevate visuals into moments that connect on a human level.

Design with an edge means more than sharp aesthetics—it’s about depth, honesty, and control. It’s about finding the pulse of a story and amplifying it through contrast, tension, and flow. Whether building a brand system, crafting an ad campaign, or composing cinematic key art, the focus is always on storytelling through precision and feeling. Because the best design doesn’t just capture attention—it commands it. It doesn’t just exist on the screen—it lives in the mind long after you’ve looked away.
